| Older CIH 3310 sprayer with AIM Command. Center z& left two boom sections the AIM CCommand solenoids will not pulse, right two boom sections work as they should. Happened as I was starting a new field. Made one pass along one end, pass up one side, across other end & backand back along the first side. Had some point rows so sprayed them siding partial boom. Turned around & went back to end & started a new pass. Part way through the field noticed the left boom wasn’t spraying but right was. Stopped & shut auto boom off & still left side wouldn’t spray. Shut controller , Vipor 4+ off and still nothing. Shut engine off & turned back on but no change
Took sprayer to the barnlot & got grandson to watch. Boom valves working as should but no AIM. Tried shutting AIM off in the sprayer & operate on manual. Right side works but not center or left though boom valves working as they should
We’ve tried tracing wiring but it’s almost impossible to follow as it goes into larger wiring harnesses. Naturally being Saturday so dealership closed & with Monday a holiday they won’t be open till Tuesday. Spray tank over half full.
Anyone familiar with the original AIM system that possibly give us some advice as where to start looking & how to test. Not sure with a broken wire or bad nodule. We did check all the fuses in the AIM control panel under the cab & none were blown. Also checked the grounds. Had a similar issue about 3-4 years ago & turned out to be a nodule under the cab where the wiring came out of the main AIM control panel. Are there any fuses in the fuse block on the right side of the cab that has to do with the AIM system?
