| A few years ago my wife and I had gone to the lake for the weekend and rented a cabin. the first evening we went to leave the cabin to go to dinner, and as we were leaving the driveway the car died. It would crank and crank and wouldnt start. I knew it had fuel in it so figured it was the fuel pump.
A guy came by in a side by side and towed us back to the cabin parking lot, and I made arragements for a tow truck in the morning.
In the middle of the night I woke up and it hit me, it was the fuel collision shut off. So I looked up how to reset it, went out and did that and it fired right up.
Thing was, we hadnt hit anything, not even a bump to trip it. We owned that car for 10 years including 5 years after it happend, and thats the only time it did it.
Wife and I figured for whatever reason, we were not supposed to be out on the road that night. | |
