Floyd County, Iowa | Wife and I went through Wisconsin, the UP, and Minnesota for a trip last year. Lots to see.
I would suggest going to Sault St Marie, Mi and spend part of a day at the Soo Locks watching ships going through the locks.
Would also highly recommend taking the SS Badger ferry across Lake Michigan, from Ludington, Mi to Manitowoc, Wi on your way back. It's a nice relaxing 4 hour trip. Met and talked to many nice people while onboard. | |
