Iowa | I had a few more skips than I'd like with the factory meters which really show up at lower populations.
Probably good enough for no more than we do but we blew some money last winter and bought one new precision planting meter with the sweet corn fingers. Spacing this spring while not absolutely perfect is noticbly better. You have to hunt for a spacing error now.
I have a 4 row I put kinze lock up kits on and only plant with one row for no more than I do.
Best thing is parts support for these now possibly 50 year old planters is great. | |
