Have a bin with a stirator which gets filled and emptied a couple times a year. The self tapping screws keep coming loose, and corn gets under the flashing, making things worse.
My thought was to replace the self tappers with steel pop rivets, with washers in bigger holes if needed.
Any thoughts? Other than the self tapping screw holes the flashing is in great shape so don't want to replace.
The problem youre going to run into with rivets is youre going to need the washers UNDER the floor where it pulls |
