Subject: RE: Visaguage flow balls

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
One column per hood. If you have 24 hoods then I would use 24 flow columns. This seems most likely your setup with 3 - 8 hood sections. Each hood contains a single tip.

Hoods seemed like a good idea here with often 3 tips per hood. One pointed straight down from the top with one on each side of the row. The thought was to direct the spray into the desirable crop and not waste it between the rows.

Apparently this did not work out as well as thought since I don't know of anyone who uses hoods anymore on their corn or rowed soybeans.

Given your handle involving sugar cane, I suspect your crops and conditions are different than ours. The hoods may work fine for you.
