| I just burnt out my second compressor on the 1790, it’s the viair model, the heavy duty one and I have my filter for it in the cab and don’t have any major leaks but tank pressure is usually 0 in the morning. All I have on planter running on air is the airbags for downforce on the row units. I have come to the come to the conclusion that the compressor is too small to fill all the bags and the tank when they are empty and that it eventually gets hot and burns out. I grabbed my compressor from the 1775 to finish beans this year and I am gonna take the air pig out to the field every morning and fill up the tank and bags before turning compressor on but I’m looking for a better permanent solution. just wondering what other guys have done. | |
