Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | That would certainly explain the problem then. I had an Integra back in the day but never tried using it with Ag Finiti.
I use Mobile Ag Finiti regularly in my planter tractor, Hagie sprayer and Deere combine. In each case this is with an InCommand 1200. My Great Nephew's seed dealer runs his data through SMS for more detailed analysis. I just consult the maps from Ag Finiti for my purposes.
In our situation, no Internet connection is involved with Ag Finiti. There is no yearly fee for the Essentials License but of course we don't get the added advantages that it would offer.
The information from the Ag Leader InCommand 1200 is transferred to the Ag Finiti Mobile app wirelessly. This is done on a "batch" basis when a field is completed. It is not done on a point by point basis as we are planting, spraying or harvesting.
We can force this transfer before a field is completed if we so desire. The field information is transferred via a "Soft Access Point" type connection between the InCommand and the iPad. This is the same type connection that some cameras use that can send pictures directly from a camera to a phone. I use this type of connection to allow my phone to work with my shed door openers. The Internet is not involved with these transfers.
Once the information has been transferred to the iPad and mobile Ag Finiti various maps, summaries etc. are available.
Below is a picture of a variety map from planting. Similar maps for spraying and harvesting are also available. My iPad printed this wirelessly to an HP printer in my office. SMS was not involved in any way. Actually I don't even have SMS anymore.
