SW MO | I have a FMX 2050 in a 2017 Versatile 260 tractor and have been having issues with the guidance since it was new. It was installed in 2020 when the tractor had 100 or so hours on it and the tractor now has just over 500. This was our first auto steer system and I’m just not very knowledgeable about them. It keeps loosing guidance, the screen will turn blue and it says it has lost connection (it will do this almost every pass in the field but only starts doing so after an hour or so of use). Other times the icon on the screen will act up, sometimes when I turn around and head the other direction the icon goes backwards pushing the implement and the implement icon jumps around the screen. It’s extremely difficult to get the tractor to lock onto the next pass unless you’re almost dead on the line and the wheels are straight. Ever since it has been installed my auto MFWD has quit working, so when I go to turn and hit the turning brakes it won’t disengage. The dealer I bought the guidance from came out to check it and said everything was fine. I’m not getting anywhere with the dealer and really loosing my patience with this system, I wish it was all removed and I could get part of my money back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
