Amherst WI | I've also done it and have the 28th crop going in the ground now, that said I am not going to belittle those who are trying to get going now because I think it is more difficult now than ever. Our dollars don't go very far at all anymore. 25 years ago I was farming 200 acres with $10,000 in equipment and that included hay equipment. Now it's hard to walk away from the parts counter for under $1000, even if you are buying parts for "older stuff". | |
