west central Iowa | If you have any kind of solar charging, you should get along good. We use old truck or tractor batteries and get a week or three out of them with no charging. It just depends on how good they are.
Take an old battery to Napa and scout the return pile for a big battery with 12v and trade with them. Sometimes you can find a real good fencer battery. Saves taking one out of something. | |
