E.Central MN | The guy that was my primary Dr put it this way: you might beat the odds and live just as long if you don't monitor and treat prostate cancer, high blood pressure, etc but your quality of life for the last few years of your life might not be what you wanted. His Dad and brother were Drs, but even they had a different opinion on PSA tests until they got diagnosed with prostate cancer. His brother put off doing the PSA test until he started having issues and by then the cancer had spread beyond the prostate. Nobody wants to think about cancer, but early detection is important. | |
