INSECT SHIELD is a business that will treat your clothes with   permethrin. It lasts a LONG time, the  website now says the life of the garment. The first 55 or so years of my life,  I seldom ever had a tick. Then for maybe 5 years, I probably found 8-10 ticks a year.
