Only knock on the Hardi is proprietary parts. It's my 3rd used one and I really like the Hardi pump and each one I've moved up to a better one with more options. I currently like the 5500 console I think its called as it adjusts flow and pressure with your speed. Again not new tech by any stretch but it allows me to get up to 8 mph on bigger fields that are smooth enough. Lots of good sprayers out there so find a good local dealer. I've been spraying my own crops since I started farming with an old 500 gal 30' non suspended boom. Not hard to do. Usually figure out my loads the night before so I mix properly. And get the order right so I don't make cottage cheese in the tank!
