No, if you have a 2630 on the arm rest, you'll need to keep it there or get a 7" screen to put in its place. I don't believe you can even move the machine without a display connected to the arm rest as all of the combine functions run through it. A 2630 on the arm rest though will do everything that one in the corner will as far as autosteer and harvest documentation.
We remove our 2630 from the armrest and put it in our sprayer for the spring/summer. Combine moves just fine without a display plugged in.
