SE SD | One thing I miss about the old tractors is you could wire and duct tape them together to get by for awhile. Where now if a sensor is down it won't run.
Funny story. Back in the early 90's my family rented a couple 2390's to do spring tillage. One of them began having shifting problems to the point it wouldn't move. Called the dealer and he instructed me to take apart this valve body on the side of the tractor. Inside was a spring with, and I'm not even kidding a literal dime & penny. He said add a couple pennies/dimes or flat washers to the spring and bolt it back together. So I did, and sure enough it shifted pretty good for the rest of spring haha. | |
