Illinois | My wife had our porch wrapped in brick. It was a small job so I know cost will be higher per brick than a big job. 38 feet long, 7 feet deep on each end. 5 rows high with a brick cap on it. Estimated at $800 for labor and then said would probably be a bit more for extra cuts and take more bricks. I go the extra bricks and paid for them. I was expecting $1000 for labor. I paid for all materials
Young guy just starting out and I don’t think he’s very good at estimating or with his time. Final bill is $2000
Am I way off base or is 2.5x original quote out of line?
