If that’s your budget I would buy 2-4 gehls.. they are cheap and capable of high volume performance.

Currently running a 3955. Most years it’s 80 acres and 1200 tons. It does good just getting tired. Gonna try to make this one last a few more years but the end is coming soon. It’s a 2000 model. I want to jump to a 230
Or 240 but good lord it’s expensive… probably end up with a Deere 3975.

Your looking at chopper that is tired and wore out… you gonna be disappointed and pissed off so either by multiples or buy one new enough to have life left

We have enough gehl equipment to know parts are an issue, otherwise there is a massive amount of those for sale in my area.

The problem where I am at is you have a pile of gehls, these 80s-90s Deere and NH's, and new. Anything newer is pushing 1,000 miles away.

New is out of budget.
