 Central IA | I think you should really try hair sheep. I believe your fore fathers would be proud of you trying to keep sheep at the farm. Not breaking your back, but adapting to what must be done. Any young(kids) labor that can help?
Farming, like all business must adapt. Sometimes it’s hard to let old ways go. But it may be a great thing. Maybe not. But get 20-40 hair sheep and see what you think.
FWIW- we just added 20 hair sheep ewes at farm, basically sticking tow in to see if we want to go that route. | |
