NW KS | The symptoms were consistent with the worn cable issues. I would have to to double check but I believe I used 2 different cables and still had issues. All the cables and sensors were used through so I guess both cables could have been bad. I think I had an extra NAVII at that time and it would work with the other NAV. I wonder if the NavII is a little out of spec plus used cables could cause the issue.
I don't even use autosense units with my navII. I use a contactless hall effect angle sensor. They are a faction of the price, have no moving parts and the cable isn't trying to turn constantly with the wheels. I was hoping to find a little move definitive answer as to how the autosense units fail. I would like to list them for sale if they are still good. | |
