Ahh I see. Yea we don’t get the weather to graze cornstalks. Typically start Halloween and feed until June 1. Backgrounding the feeders this year still have them.
As fed pounds we are 75-80% silage and the rest hay. Just can’t get the tonnage off of hay ground that we can silage. I understand it’s different for you
Would like to experiment with grazing rye in the fall and spring
