Eastern NE KS | I can imagine the hours involved on your chopper. The time to get to the problem is sinful assuming it was easily found. My guess is the spent hour just locating the problem.
Last year, I had a hydraulic hose blow a leak under the cab of by 6430. Unlike your chopper, my leak was easy to locate and know what had to be done. However, the labor was shocking. My total bill was $6800 to replace a $175 hose! The technician reported the old hose was installed on the wrong side of a stud so it wore a hole. He claimed it will never happen that way again.
My experience was shocking but I'm sure it was a small fraction of the work on your chopper.
