Can you get a pressure gauge near the pump?  If you're deadheading 70 PSI both gauges should be the same.  Do you have a rinse tank that you could switch to and do some testing?  What if you turn 1 boom on?  Are they still the same?  2 booms? etc.  How wide are booms, how many sections, what tip spacing, what tips?
