Depends on what the border crossing wants to make an issue of. brought equipment two times across, no broker needed , personal equipment. tthird time gestapo insisted on broker because my farm was a "business". 5 hours, multiple phone calls and $500 less i finished crossing. this was 6-7 years ago.
