| Hey all, hoping to get some advice or opinions on dry farming SS hay on some land my family has. I’m seeing that nitrates can be a problem in “drought conditions” which I’d imagine is exactly what dry land east Colorado is. I also see that CSU did a dry land forage test that claimed you could yield up to 11 tons/ac with a certain seed but that seems pretty high to me. Any ideas on realistic yield? Thanks,
