Subject: Relay Cropping Dry Beans and Wheat in the PNW Under Pivot

Has anybody ever tried relay cropping dry beans and wheat under a pivot in the PNW? From the reading I have done it is very possible with soybeans and wheat in the midwest "as long as it rains" but I am curious what kind of yields we could see with basically unlimited "rainfall" If we could get 2/3 of a crop of wheat and 2/3 of a crop of beans it could be worth attempting.. and it sounds like those yields in soybeans and wheat without irrigation are not far fetched with his style of cropping. Looking for any wisdom or experience pertaining to the subject. We figured we could use a clearfield wheat so beyond extra wouldn't ding either crop as well as the earliest maturing variety of wheat we could get our hands on.
