SE SD | I had a 255 that had the solenoids that sucked the wing wheels in for transport. Needed 12v power from the light plug. It would do all sorts of goofy stuff. Found out that CIH has models that have none of that B.S. Traded the FC off and those problems went away. Now the new, new one had a bearing failure in the walking tandem, & dirt buildup underneath the center frame of the harrow arms which caused the harrow not to go down all the way. Got it totally fixed now for next year. CIH needs to re-design the harrows on these to handle today's residue and beef them up a little. The bearing failure must have been a factory defect. | |
