East of Broken Bow | We were very lucky to catch a pop up thunderstorm yesterday, rain was anywhere from a half inch to 4 inches in a distance of less than 10 miles. No idea how big the area that got a decent rain was, but I do know that even with this last rain, there are areas that are under 2.5 inches of total moisture for the entire year, and this coming off of a very dry fall/winter. This was the first winter I can remember where I never pushed any snow, never got more than maybe 3-4 inches of fluffy snow at a time, and maybe 6 or 7" total of mostly fluffy snow that came with a wind so the road ditches got most of it.
ETA, I have to mention this for the laugh. My neighbor told me last week the only moisture on his whole farm is at the bottom of his truck tires after his dog marks his territory.
