Depends on what "VT" tool you're talking about. If I had an extra $130k laying around I think that a 7530 Landoll could do everything pretty well.
For the OP, slowing down and using auto steer to get repeatable amounts of overlap can really help with disk ridging. Putting the outside front blade just into worked dirt really reduces the amount of dirt that gets thrown outside of the rear gang.
Most tandem disks should NEVER go above 6 mph and <5 mph is even better. They weren't designed for higher speeds.
