Subject: Stopped at the border with a header.

Oregon
I went back and looked at the old threads on importing equipment to the U.S. from Canada. It appears that the U.S. administration may have changed the rules recently.

A friend of mine was not allowed to bring a draper back over the border this evening. He has a bill of sale from the Canadian dealer. U.S. customs is requiring use of a broker for the header.

Anyone have recent experience with this?

Thanks in advance. Feel free to email me if you have specific advice / grievances to air.

Edit to add: If you used a broker that you can recommend, the guidance would be appreciated.
