North Carolina | Long story short, I have lost a farm to development, this is my last crop ever to be planted on it. So, they were surveying a couple weeks ago and told me they were done. We planted the farm in cotton. Then today after 5 in of rain I find ruts 100 yards across my cotton field and a pickup stuck up in the middle of it. After Talking to his boss, I agreed to pull him out. My question is after leaving what I was doing driving 5 miles to deal with the problem dealing with 100 yards of ruts and the crop damage then pulling him out, what would you guys' charge if you were in my position? I really do want to be fair about it but i didn't create the problem.
