Southern Illinois | Same on TG, tried a pair about 15 years ago and said never again. Bought another pair 2 years ago and the sole is still good but the upper is shot. They aren't even that comfortable. Lots like the Brunt, but I don't want to buy Chinese boots, some don't mind, its just a pet peeve of mine.
I have 2 pair of redwings and a pair of hiking style boots. If I don't rotate boots every 10 days my feet hurt. I also usually break in my new boots wearing to church and town for a year. If I have to wear them to work right away I don't wear them more than half a day.
I am interested in the brand the OP mentioned. I don't mind paying for quality, but I don't feel the TG were worth the $275. Maybe $150....... | |
