I did a few rows before I quit using the 6000 planter. Bolt on outside and nut on inside. No other modifications.
I have a 8000 now. I seen on facebook that deere uses a stud on opener disks. I used the idea and thought it was great. Installed RK guage wheel arm kits so did away with disk scraper also.
