NW IA | Check out Double Diamond Fabrication's web-site. They have everything you need and if you're not into welding it yourself you can work with a local shop as I did.
I don't have experience with steel or aluminum, but I am very pleased with my wood deck which I wouldn't have thought of before looking at DD.
The wood deck also was convenient when the fuel pump failed on the old Chevy, just unscrewed three boards and replaced the pump.
