Anyone around here who uses the clutch for anything more than taking off from a dead stop is considered to be a steering wheel holder, and not a truck driver. Noone over 45 or so does, under 45 some do, some don't. That's just the way it is.

You are welcome to argue that with the DOT, that was the requirement when I got my CDL according to the instructor. No floating allowed because too many can't do it without grinding. |
