E ND | Back in the 400 series Bobcat made a Fasttrack model they talked about that traveled better, not sure how much faster it was though.
Most now are around 3mph in high, it will help to get the higher horsepower model in a size class/frame/series as they'll maintain travel speed through turning and soft spots/hills better but none of them are fast.
Wheeled excavator is an option and compaction wouldn't be terrible on fat single tires in the smaller sizes, but pretty rare machines other than the east coast. For tile work if you're going to have a wheeled machine you could just as well run a rubber tire backhoe. | |
