Better figure out who is going to pay repairs, and who is going to pay for upgrades. Otherwise you look to be on the right track if it’s something you want to pursue.

That’s the grey area for me. Why I am leaning to $22 acre, he is responsible for repairs. That’s $200 a year just for repairs?
My 7000 8rn after about 25 years use. Much of it when I farmed twice as many acres, and used it for soybeans as well. Except when dad hit an electric pole with marker… ;) *he always warned me to stay far back* I don’t recall spending $200 a year on average? The in beam hyd line, at JD was over $200. But that was its biggest repair I recall. I stopped putting on fertilizer, that negated hyd cylinder rebuilds. *it started to settle unevenly, needed resetting every day* removing few ton of weight took care of slight internal leak issue.
Two sets of marker discs. *I set them too aggressive I know*. But hated not seeing it clear early evening.

Just getting plan figured out. Then have complete idea to print out, he his future Mrs. Can consider.
