It shouldn't make any difference on the antenna, unless the receiver is really putting out some garbled messages messing up the current system. Still, I'd also say that going with SC1 would be a good move. Assuming everything is already in place with the current SmarTrax that would be compatible with it, you'd be looking at around $6500 for that kit.
