Ohio | If you want to keep the no-till coulter and use row cleaners you might need to upgrade to the heavy duty down pressure springs. Assuming yours are currently the stock.
I would start with spiked closers. We had yetter pin adjust row cleaners on our 7000 and they worked okay, but I would look at floating or air adjusted if I was doing it again. I would also note that there is not enough room on the toolbar to mount any fertilizer coulter if you run the row cleaner with a no-till coulter. It looks like you don't have fertilizer openers so might not be a worry for your system. | |
