Subject: RE: Hydraulic system question

Sac & Story county IA
The 2 systems are different. In the 8000 tractor instruction book, it tells a way to make things work but warns of oil heating. I have done that on a 3 point backhoe, but just for short time. I do use power beyond on an 8100 for planter vac with a hose hooked to load sense. That does work for long run time with no heating. I am not real sure what makes it work. Something about a dime valve. I don't know if once the pressure equalizes, oil stops flowing. So, the idea I have for you is use power beyond outlet through a valve used for speed control of vac fan. That would provide one way flow of oil to pump motor. There is a motor return port near power beyond port.
