The entire thing is just awkward to anyone that didn’t grow up in a 86 IH.
If you grew up in a 86 I suppose the 88’s are great.

Thankfully someone from Case fixed that crappy setup and didn’t let the Magnums get released with backwards doors.


I grew up with 88s and 94s. Still have them. The 94 series has an awkward door as it doesn't open far enough nor stay open, plus with loader mounts the exhaust is rerouted so then your grab bar is always HOT.

IH's prototype for the Magnum/New Farmall only had one door that hinged on the B pillar.
