Aeroswint and hitchcock are not the same, not even really close either. Aeroswint - tailgate engineered so it doesn't need a lock to keep it closed, floor chain is barrel chain instead of roller chain like the Hitchcock, the bottom frame on the aeroswint is a c channel, where hitchcock is just bent flat iron. Hitchcocks floor chain has an automatic floor tenchener because if they don't you break the chain. Aeroswint is better than a hitchcock, but I believe mas is better than aeroswint by a decent margin. Yes, 100% heavier but better components on the new ones.
