I would say the last 10 weeks have been somewhat similar to 2012. But before that it was way to cold to be similar to 2012. We had 5" of rain in April this year which is about what we had in 2012, so far May has been drier than normal which is similar to 2012.

Our corn yield in 2012 was 6 times greater than they were in 2011, or 35 bu higher. I know that are corn yields will not be 6 times more than last year but I would be happy if they were 35 bu higher than last year.
