| Bought a Cleveland trencher with a cat 3304. Bought from a company no longer in business. I have very few details about the machine. It took some cranking but I finally got it started and idling smooth. After a couple minutes it died. I have not been able to restart it. Fuel filter was almost empty. Topped it off and tried again. No luck. It does not have a hand primer pump. It has what I am assuming is a mechanical pump. I need some help on how to prime this system. I have not seen one like it before. Someone was messing around with the fuel lines. They could possibly be hooked up incorrectly. How do I prime this and where should the fuel enter the system from the tank. Near the filter or at the mechanical pump?
