Subject: RE: Trimble FMX to a Trimble GFX1260

SEQ, Australia
Thats interesting, because since this thread started, I have now got one doing the exact same thing. Mine however is an AutoPilot system that has been upgraded from an Ag170 to a GFX-1260, but the lines havve been imported from the FMX displays in other tractors on the farm. From the testing I have done so far, it looks like the A-B lines were originally created in the Ag 170 system, then transferred to multiple FMX displays, then transferred to the GFX display. When the original lines are brought into the FMX display and loaded, they are incorrect by the same amount as the GFX-1260, but the FMX then brings up a warning saying "For best guidance results, please close and re-open the field". Once the field is re-opened, the lines are in the correct position, and are then correct every time the field is used after that point. PIQ doesn't seem to recognise whatever the FMX sees to warn it that there is an error, and so just opens the line up in the incorrect position and calls it good.

I have lodged a support case with Trimble on this subject, but so far none of the "fixes" have worked that we have tried. The newest Ver 15.2 beta for the GFX mentions a fix for "an issue causing A-B lines from legacy displays to be offset when loaded into PIQ", so hiopefully this may be the fix for your issue as well - the description definitely fits anyway.

I'm yet to be convinced that it will fix my issue, simply due to the age of the legacy display.
