coast of Maine
So I heard like a screech when I was agitating, greased it all up,heard a clunk.Off to the shop.Ho -Lee-funch,There are 2 very large ball bearing thrust taking main bearings that were sort of scattered when we opened it up.Of course a needed treatment this evening as moisture coming and plants all ready to go in,,,WTF,,go to local dealer,,Hardi said here by noon tomorrow.Cool but not so for the 50,000 plants. So off to the parts pile, shaft out of a pump that was totally different sized but it fit.The insides of these pumps are built like tanks.I have replaced the diaphragm and valves before but never gained the best pressure, now I know one bearing was likely allowing poor pump offset.Pumps like crazy now.
