Couple things with Hypro pumps... If open center systems which I am guessing your tractor is you need to adjust the bypass screw on the hydraulic motor. It is the little adjustment screw with the jam nut. If you have never adjusted it you should follow the instructions on page 17 of the hypro manual.

Additionally make sure if it has an orifice it is sized correctly.

I built a spray truck a few years ago. Adjusted the hypro motor and I was still generating heat with the open center system. About 170°. Not horrible but warmer than I wanted. I just installed a simple oil cooler with an electric fan. Made a huge difference.
