Northeast Indiana | Considering what we have now at our farm (5 bins, 2 with stirrators, all at the farm site but with no natural gas line and only single phase), I would choose option 3 every time.
You need to always be looking 5-10 years down the road when building bins, and 3 phase alone would make it worth it when it comes time to put in a dryer/air system/leg. Nearly every bin company has remote monitoring for their dryers now, and within a couple years of fighting stirrators you'll be in your banker's office trying any way you can to justify a wet holding bin and dryer. | |
