Should be a shaft seal kit available. Shaft could be rusted or worn undersize where seal rides on it, but not usually a problem. Impeller has to come off and may break. Could be included in the kit.
Bearings will usually have been getting contaminated with spray and even if they are still tight, replacement isn’t a bad idea anyway.
