Looks like the forecast has a lot of rain for the Dakotas, could go from one extreme to the other.
It would take a lot of rain here to make it too wet.
It takes 45 days to get dry. And 45 minutes to get too wet.
We are about 250 miles apart and our soils are totally different..We can go from flood to drought in 14 days..Lots of crops have been lost here due to drought but few to it being too wet...Once we get a stand established we can handle lots of moisture...Between April 2nd and May 8th we had 10 inches of needed rain..Its now dry enough to plant beans, spray corn, and make hay...We may get 2 inches of rain this weekend.
